New York Mets
Outside food is allowed. Bring it in a permitted bag or small soft-sided cooler (up to 16x16x8 in). No glass, cans, or hard-sided coolers.
One factory-sealed plastic water bottle (20 oz or less) and one sealed, soft-sided child's juice box per child. Neither may be frozen.
Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into Citi Field.
Small soft-sided coolers are allowed. Glass bottles, metal cans, and hard-sided coolers aren't.
Bags up to 16x16x8 in are allowed: purses, totes, drawstring, messenger, fully-clear backpack-style bags, and small soft-sided coolers. Backpacks aren't allowed; ADA/medical exceptions apply.
Citi Field bars the hard cooler and the metal can yet expressly blesses the small soft-sided cooler, and a vessel built to carry food is, by the implication, a vessel built to carry spaghetti. I rule YES: pack your noodles and sauce into a soft cooler no bigger than 16-by-16-by-8, tuck in one sealed 20-ounce water (and, if a child vouches for you, a juice box), and stroll past the gate an honest pasta pilgrim. Freeze nothing, bring no alcohol, and let the Home Run Apple bear witness that the marinara entered Queens entirely within the letter of the law.
Unofficial, untangled, and legally meaningless. Trust the real rules above.
